Exactly. Depends on what type you are going for. Also, the time period for when the movie is out. Back in the 90's, this was one epic good movie. Now, if it was released, I"m not sure it would do so well. Granted, it is long, but exactly long enough to ensure the entire story and all it's elements are portrayed.

@coffeeowl it's going to be a good month for movies. The Disaster Artist is opening on the 8th, and so is The Shape Of Water, which I'm really excited to see. Also there's I, Tonya and some other, some little cult movie about A Last Jedi or something, which I guess I'll go check out.

Wholeheartedly agree, in fact it might not even get made today. Costner struggled to get it made then. In this era I can see studios assuming that they couldn't get their money back out of it.
