I don't live in the desert, but it gets in the 110s during the summer here, sometimes the high 110s. Thankfully it's not humid heat.I live in the Desert and it gets in the 100's here in New Mexico in the Summer. And I love the cold, I wish I weren't in the desert anymore, I cant stand the heat
You get used to it, especially if one doesn't have a heater or ac....I'm glad to be on the CA coast where it doesn't get too terribly cold, but still it sucks to get up early in the morning when it's that cold. I dislike the heatwaves we get occasionally whe it's over 105, but my room stays at an uncomfortable 87 degrees so it's doable. I dislike heat, but thankfully living on the coast it gets cooler alot faster in the evening after a heatwave. I don't miss the cold when I used to live in OR or WA...no thanks.
