Wow, neat! I've done the Alcatraz tour. Great fun, and ... very informative.

It is a great tour. I've always meant to take my son, but we have never gone (he wanted to do a nighttime tour, and those sell out really fast). This school field trip came up as a "reward" from the school for kids with good grades and who have done many hours of community service, so he gets to tour Alcatraz for the first time without me.

And they get to hang out on Pier 39, a place he adores and likes to visit often (I am tired of Pier 39, but have to go often for him, lol.)

i've gotten a couple bonus emails this morning, so i'm not sure what it looks like on the requester end or what she means exactly.

i think the bonus system is a separate thing? the way requesters used to be able to send messages *without* giving a bonus involved clicking through about 4 things & was a pain in the ass, and now they've removed it (it was "manage HITs individually" i think)

My Dad used to be stationed at the Oakland Army Terminal (now closed), so I got to see a lot of neat stuff because of that. Including Pier 39.
