i am looking at April 2019. we picked a venue in september and i can't decide between the dates in that month so i haven't done anything else now. or what if i actually want a winter wedding. i totally agree about the expensive and stress bit. every time i have dipped my toe into the wedding planning i get overwhelmed and want to just go to the courthouse. fiance wants his parents there though and then i go down a rabbit hole of not wanting to exclude family and friends
Can do what we did ^_^ Small ceremony with just parents, then invite everyone to a reception to have fun. Just to be real, most peeps dont like sitting through a ceremony anyhow, they go to weddings for food and booze ^_^
i guess it's my own problem, i just can't see inviting JUST my parents. then i'd want to invite my close aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents, best friends and some coworkers. and then boom i have a list of 70 people.
