I smoked a pack a day for about 15 years. A few years ago, I bought a vape thing (a good one, not a gas station one), and I never had another cigarette from that day forward. I started with a really heavy nicotine juice, then slowly stepped it down to nothing over a few years. Then I was able to give it up entirely, because I'd weaned myself off the nicotine. I do still get the oral fixation craving thing, I won't lie. But I feel SO MUCH BETTER.

exact same thing for me, 20ish years, most of that 2 packs of Newports a day.

I'd say do this at your own risk? It took 15 mins, but it says you get a $1.50 bonus if you meet all the checks and answer how they want you to. Checks seemed easy but they also said things like "appropriate time spent on answers" and those type things. I'll update if it's fast.

Born Concord grew up in Laconia (when it was a good city) most recently was home from '11 to '13 living in Concord to show my now ex wife where I was from.

Yeah took me about 35 minutes and I got a bonus around $3.80. Hope this isn't a new trend with them.

Oh wow! Grew up in Manchester. Currently in Sunapee/Newport. I actually met a former forum member when I was a Teenager and didn't know it.
Small world.
Concord has changed so much. The mall is almost abandoned. they have tried to revamp the strip but its harsh.

My brother died of an over dose in Feb of 15'. It is really bad.

I have got to fucking figure out how to stop smoking.

it took me three times to quit.
instead of replacing it with something else, I replaced it with nothing.
i literally substituted two packs a day for seven years, for nothing.
the thing I thought the strangest was, "if I don't smoke, what will I end up doing when I would have been smoking‽ what do nonsmokers do when they aren't having a smoke?"

the answer stunned me

nothing. they don't end up doing anything instead of smoking.

honestly though, it really did take me a few times until I quit cold turkey instead of the quit smoke pill things. (smokeaway)

Really sorry about your brother

They just finished expanding Main st too. Put in all new parking and widened the street.

It's ok. I appreciate it. Addictions kill. Just used it as a learning tool for my children and hopefully it prevents someone else from going down that path.
