geez there is nothing today, no Prolifics or Connects either. Tis the season of no surveys fala la la la la la la la.

I'm seeing a lot of low paying surveys left in my prolific queue - 2.96/hours 3.86/hour, etc 4 out of 5 pay less than 4/hours. So much for their minimum pay. I can see how a requestor could underestimate the time so they can make the minimum, but why is prolfici letting them post jobs well below their minimum?

prolific isn't quickly responsive to underpaying studies. part of it is also mturk requesters who go to prolific and ignore the fact there are minimum hourlys there. it is not "how low can you go" like mturk.

I think it should be easy for them to set up an algo that says you can't submit a hit that pays below 7 or 8 or whatever their hourly rate is now. And a requestor that gets more than 10% or whatever complaints for underpaying hits gets blocked. They block us for having too many rejections, should go both ways

I think it's hit or miss and there's no check on the requestors. A lot of the requestor pay a pence or other nominal amount. I tracked it awhile and the amounts didn't match up with the time taken for the study. Just enough to get prolific off their back

i do too but they are usually just 1 pence and not 29 pence like yours.
