when you spend the first hour of your work day
writing "where's my money b****" emails to requesters
who have not paid, what they said they was gonna
and it's been a week or two

don't need no magic "bonus" promises [bonus=wage in this context]
compensating for a shitty base pay,
that is only workable, with your "bonus"....
just do what you said you would
&^*&^^@%#$@@

Happy Monday... :coffeepc:
gonna find that green 💸💸💸

Watch out for requester liaepflturk. I just got a mass rejection from them for "poor quality on causality". I've done hundreds of their HITs with the same type of quality and they've all been approved before
Your not by yourself I just got 11 from Nulab. Didn't read instruction close enough could only do one. Merry Christmas to me. Have only made $1.70 today.

I got 63 from this one. Apparently I've done ~300 for them that were approved, and the ones I did yesterday are still pending. Sitting at $1.83 now lol

I never do hits that have a shitty base pay and promise of a bonus that if it happened would make them worth it. been burned too many times by requesters that use that lie to get people to work for pennies and have no intention of actually paying out the bonus.

Am I the only knitter on the board? HelloHello @HelloHello and Turtlefemm @Turtlefemm - you are crochet-ers?
Grandma taught this left handed grrl how to crochet
because she was a southpaw too
and I still talk about it, on my anonymous podcast
{even wrote a song about my grandma showing me how to crochet, and published it!}
You are not alone! Still have some of my grandma's crochet hooks

I hear you.
And ... the work we choose on Mturk, is a subjective choice.
And...some of these requesters paid bank, and are futzing with present batches. so...
You make a reasonable assertion
Although in any career job I've had, over 30+ years work experience... there will be a % of people that futz like this.

Best in the hunt.

Anyone else doing these Well lab surveys. they want me to do 30 of these..I've done five and already want to gouge my eyes out. I can't find the email that I got that said how long I have to get these done. Does anyone know if I need to do them all today to get the bonus?

I just did, and mine had two questions. The first question was more housekeeping (what platform you on?).
Then there was a second specific question, which may be work product, so not sharing the content of the question.

It was very short. It was an Andy HIT. I will let it sit for 10 minutes or so, then will submit it.

Others share requester Andy can reject randomly {"HIT approval rate = 87%"},

so I tend to let their HITs "cook" a few minutes, then submit.

Sorry, didn't directly answer that question.
I do knit, have knitted a few scarves. I prefer crochet.
I celebrate your knitting ability and interest!

🧶 <--- the only emoji I could find closely associated with knitting/crocheting. A yarn ball!

SCAM ALERT

Very authentic-looking email purporting to be from PayPal about a payment request with a message that says call us at xxx-xxx-xxxx if you think this is a fraudulent charge. When I went to the PayPal account that same message showed up when I looked at the payment making it seem it was from PayPal. I canceled the payment. I called the number and they want you to sign out of PayPal and go to www.viewmaster.com saying that cancellation has to be done this way.
