If I knew anything about programming I would help. I've been thinking about taking some of those free MIT courses or maybe even some IT courses in general but I'm not sure exactly where my interest lies with computers. I think programming would be interesting because that could open me up to robots and stuff .yeah, i gotta get the toggle of the export buttons done before that since its a bigger impact.

According to Amazon's Mechanical Turk Requester Best Practices Guide, the intended purpose of a block is to prevent bad workers from continuing to do your work. (Source [PDF])E-mail them, it's what I did. Reddit has a lot of bs on it, but getting the answer directly from Mturk helped a lot.
It's why people have so many "soft blocks" - aka requesters not leaving a comment. Each one goes through to Mturk, and if it has no comment how can they decypher if it's worthy of being banned over? Or simply using there feature for one of its intended purposes?
Blocking Workers
If a Worker continually submits unacceptable answers you should block the Worker. Blocking a Worker
will prevent that Worker from completing any more HITs for you. This can be important when you find a
particularly inaccurate Worker, or a Worker who is not responding to feedback, training, or other
communication.
When you block a Worker who is a poor performer, you are helping all Requesters by providing
valuable feedback to Mechanical Turk about the Worker. A Worker who receives multiple blocks
from different Requesters will be suspended from working on Mechanical Turk.
