Yea, it gets to me to, but I know someone who owned a Dunkin donuts, and tried to donate the food. She gave instructions for how long to keep it but the place they donated to kept them longer than they were supposed to, people got sick, and she was sued so as far as food goes I understand why they have to trash so much of it. For other things though I think they should definitely be donated.

I get that too, but I just feel like especially bigger corporations like Walmart should be able to take on the small risk that this might happen. Or more laws should be put in place so if it wasn't their fault they don't assume the blame. It just makes me so sad that so many people that go hungry while all of this food is being thrown in landfills, you know?

UHG.. I wanted that money to go ahead and transfer today , now I am forced to wait till the 20th FFS Why not every 3 days after you transfer . Makes no damn sense. And why do they do this crap right around christmas.. worse time of year to screw with people's money.

did you have to transfer it the new way or do you still have the option to do it through AP? My set-up hasn't changed yet so idk how this is going to work. Not looking forward to it.

Could be the reason for some places to do that, but I have mostly found that is it the managers of the store that set the policy on the dumpsters.

That's even worse. We didn't have the option to do anything else. It's a shame that anyone would do that if it was up to them.

Yeah I've got it on the ground here too, I think this year I'm not going to dream of a white Christmas, I'm leaning more toward 70° and bright sunshine.

I'd like a 70 deg christmas without having to go on a trip also but the week'ish out forecast models are showing we might get some snow on christmas eve into christmas day so it might be a "white" christmas depending on what the definition of that is (just seeing flakes or accumulation of some minimum amount).

Isn't a lot of stuff on Amazon 3rd party? There are some direct sellers but there's a lot of co-mingled inventory.

There's a lot of trust and "just don't think about it" with stuff you buy just about anywhere though. Basically all packaging is various degrees of icky.

Yeah, there's a lot of 3rd party stuff. I might make an exception once in a while for something that's at least "fulfilled by Amazon" if I need it quickly or I can't find it someplace else, but even that can be a minefield. There's a lot of counterfeit stuff sitting in Amazon's warehouses.

I swear way back in the day Amazon had brand name stuff and it was cheap. Now you can choose between 1 real brand and 20 fake Chinese "brands" like LOOKEYDON and OOOPIO and nothing is cheaper than you'd get in a regular store.
