This was fun. I was a bit worried going in after reading the reviews. I think I was done in about 22 minutes. No bugs or loading issues on my end.

It took longer than I preferred, but since it was fun I didn't mind that much. Luckily I did not encounter any errors either.

I've had a checking account for almost a year now. My husband and I have a joint account too but there were too many bills and crap taking out all the time so it was hard to keep track of. I'm really good about making sure what bills take out and how much money I have left now that there's two accounts. This week, however, I had a small charge take out that I completely forgot about, leaving my account in the negative for the first time ever. The charge was still showing as pending so I quickly deposited the money I had in payments to my checking account and I was never charged an overdraft fee.

That's why I like being able to cash out whenever I want.

I'm so broke these days that those monthly fees have kicked in and it's BS. $25 frackin' dollars a month for what? Is Ally any good? I'm thinking of switching to them.

I use capitalone 360 and they are great. There is always a person to talk to if I need it. The app works well and it is linked to my credit card.

They're my bank as well. When I first opened that account I was so confused as to how the available balance worked. I kept ending up with more money in my account than I should have. Apparently Capital One puts the money back into your available balance if the merchant doesn't complete the transaction after 72 hours.

Does that happen often? It's deducted again when the order is actually processed? Some merchants take forever. That would drive me bonkers honestly. All I want from a bank is to just tell me how poor I actually am.

Yeah the merchant usually ends up processing the payment the day after they've thrown the money back into my account. It seems like a good way for Capital One to get overdraft fees to be honest. I keep that crap turned off though.

I actually had Huntington for 5 years. I ditched them after having my info stolen 3 times. I never had that happen before or after that bank account.
