You can try going to the tampermonkey dashboard, and then clicking on the logo in the top left. It takes you to the tampermonkey website, where I think it update for me.

yeah i tried that last night actually. From everything i read its just supposed to auto update itself but mine still hasn't for some reason, i guess it will fix itself when it feels like it.

You can always backup your scripts, and databases, and try to uninstall reinstall. That seems like a lot of work with questionable gains. I'd probably just wait. The crash was annoying but not that annoying.
