Did you have yours removed? :o I hate this crap. Thinking of finding a new ladytime doctor to rip the dang thing out. It seems to get worse the longer it's there (it's been there since I was a teenager)

Jeeebus bursting UGHHHh no no no. I thought mine burst over the summer but sure enough the pain was back. So either bursting + regrowing or who knows. BODIES ARE GROSS AND AWFUL.

Yeah I think she meant that the cyst itself is too small to be of a huge concern. Such a small body part that does so much good and bad. TY for the well wishes!

When you have PCOS, or other ovary issues, they keep coming back, so unless they are VERY large, like bigger than your ovary, the doctors don't want to risk opening you up for something that's "just painful" and going to continue. The surgery has to be less risky than the cyst to get sliced.

If and when you get it removed, the forum will have to celebrate a "Despairagus Cyst-free Day."

Ty for that explanation though! Dr did not explain it that way and I never bothered to look it up. I just kinda went with "Ok that's life" and continue to be in a shit ton of pain for a few random days a month. It sucks.
