What did Amazon change that caused this?

The results pages used to return JSON data no matter how you requested them.

For whatever reason they reverted back to the www format of just returning full HTML pages in their response, so scripts broke.

The fix is ridiculously simple, its just appending &format=json parameter to the requests in these scripts & cleaning up the results a little bit because now some of the data is different between requests.

@Johnnyrs is a very smart man and was appending the json request to PC already which is why his script didn't break.
