Why don't they teach manners classes anymore?

Not sure. Mine were all electives (I did a dual bachelors, they may have even been electives for my other degree), but I think that IT attracts certain types of people who just aren't interested in taking them as electives. They really should be a core subject in the BS, in my opinion. If you end up with the tech firms of the world, you'll be less likely to use them, but they're still fabulous.
