He is... I told him he could still go and I would stay home with the kids, but he was all "hell no!" He is not big on holidays or his family so it doesn't matter too much, I'm just amazed.

Also, my kids won't even be home on Christmas, so its not a huge deal to me, but their "christmas party" is tomorrow night.

small holiday rant incoming: so the bfs family just excluded him from Christmas this year because I'm Jewish. I'm in shock. we've been together for 3 years now so its not anything new. so much for letting his siblings be in charge of the christmas gathering this year. They also said Christmas dinner was adults only and we have 3 kids under 9, they never mentioned this until now.

Wow ... that's pretty rough Sorry you guys have been affected by that negativity. Just when I think how progressive we've become, this sort of ugliness pops up. *hugs*

Wow! That's awesome.

Our town also has companies that home owners with fruit trees can sign up with giving the companies permission to come pick a certain amount of fruit. This means less fruit rots on the ground and more gets to people around here who can't afford a lot of fresh fruits. It's pretty cool!
