Wow, I feel so normal in here. I have anxiety, agoraphobia. And am terrified to drive a car and still have not at 26.
I rarely post on the forums because I get anxiety over saying something stupid.
The agoraphobia is getting better, I have kids so I'm forced to leave the house and talk to people often for them.

As a mother with an adult child who has suffered all her life also, maybe its not that you can't work a "normal job" but that just like online schooling vs brick and mortar.and how it has changed to being more acceptable over the last 20 years, you are just more advanced than others in the type of job you do. I have worked many jobs and find Turking to be just as demanding as many I have done.
The world now recognizes that not everyone fits in the 9 to 5 grind.

If it weren't for insurance, I'd be retired.

I am agoraphobic too. We could talk about mental illnesses these days here since mturk is so quiet . Hope nobody's struggling too much on the holidays.
