Any opinions on the superstition of whether taking down the Christmas tree before or after the new year is supposed to make you have good luck? We need all the good luck we can get in my family!

Growing up my mom would always say that the tree had to stay up until the new year or we'd have bad luck. Now as an adult with my own tree will not take the tree down before the new year even though I think its crazy why chance it.

Growing up my mom would always say that the tree had to stay up until the new year or we'd have bad luck. Now as an adult with my own tree will not take the tree down before the new year even though I think its crazy why chance it.
