Are you using headphones? That makes a huge difference with audio HITs. Over the ear and not buds.

Apple earbuds, only ones I have. Don't know how I managed to pass the first test but not the others though with nothing changing.

well, off for my daily walk to the dealership - where they will tell me that they don't have the part, it's been ordered, they don't know when it's coming, no one will answer their emails or phone calls (so no eta) and they'll fix my car as soon as they get it.
dd has promised to cry once we get there. I told her that might help

Funny story, when I was almost a teen, maybe a young teen, at the end of the NKotB craze, I literally would find their paraphernalia on the ground in my city. Stickers, tapes, posters, buttons. It was weird as hell. I would kill for a NKotB shirt that would fit me now though.
