i never understood the thrill of being in Times Square for NYE. i guess to say you've done it? being crammed and stuffed with thousands and thousands of other people not being able to move in the freezing cold doesn't sound fun

rather be inside with a few people or a significant other/family

It's stupid. Youd be waiting in the freezing cold for 5 hours or more. You arent able to move around or go to the bathroom because if you do, you'll lose your spot.

He's really not lying about that. I've been in the crowd once and it was awful. The only other time I saw it live we were inside an office party where we could see it drop. That was a lot of fun.

it's a tourist attraction. barely anyone that lives there wants to be anywhere near the crowd.
