Mturk Crowd Weekly Challenge Competition!
Competition Breakdown:
As a way to help recognize the people who make Mturk Crowd great, the staff here at MTC have developed a new weekly challenge competition. This competition will consist of a series of four rotating challenges:
- Most HIT posts in a week.
- Most Time posts in a week.
- Most posts of any type in a week.
- An all around category.
The winner each week will receive a special banner that they will get to keep until someone else wins in the same category (the following month). If they manage to win the challenge again they will keep their banner.
Competition Breakdown:
A HIT post is a post that contains a HIT export. As long as the export follows common formatting our scraper can pick it up.
A Time post is a post that notes how long a HIT took to complete. Time posts must follow the format HIT Time: followed by how long the HIT took to complete. So, for example, "HIT Time: 3 minutes." As a shortcut you can use the time button at the top right of the reply box as shown below:
In the most posts category the winner is whoever was the most active poster during the week.
In the all around category regular posts will be worth 1 point, and HIT and Time posts will be worth 2 points. Whoever gained the most points during the week would win.
