Sorry, Kerek, but...

Eddings: when you want the same story arc told to you twice in different five book series. Also again in numerous standalone novels.
That's why it was a dig. (Although I like the Belgeriad and Mallorean because of the characters and it's pretty comfy.)

Yes, that's the main series and it's done, though there are other series that take place in the same universe, both by Erikson and the guy that co-created that universe with him (I forget the name)
Esslemont. They're right next to each other on my shelf.

Comfy yes, but like... 7th grade comfy when the short stories your teacher is having you read in class are actually morality plays in disguise. :p

haha true.

But there was one she was particularly bad. I think it was the last one that came out, I might be wrong hough. I was practically skipping over her chapters they were so bad.
I think it was that one. IIRC she wasn't really in the fourth book.

It's better written than the YA fiction everyone reads as adults now, at least.

I actually liked A Dance With Dragons. At least compared to the one before it. I felt it was far less tedious.
I'm the opposite! AFFC was my 2nd favorite book, after ASS of course.

I want to reread a Wrinkle in Time. I remember that book really mindfucking me as a kid.
I can't decide if I'm hyped or terrified for the movie they're making of it. If you didn't read the whole quintet, it's totally worth it. I actually liked A Wind In The Door better than Wrinkle.
