Darn it... my husband just got invited to speak at another conference in the UK in October so my options are

1: wean the baby early and leave her with my mom (nope)
2: take an 11 month old on an 8 hour international flight (nope)
3: stay at home with the kids, languishing in envy

I'll speak instead. I'm sure I can wing it.

He's an awesome front-end/JS developer He's been focusing on doing a lot of speaking in the past couple years, which is awesome and paying off. Lots of traveling! Last September I got to go to Germany with him (heavily pregnant), but I'm really looking forward to baby being weaned so I can go unencumbered and drink allll the wine.

It's rare that I'm in the pictures. We did take one of all four of us up there but you can't see the beautiful contrast from the sand and the sky....and I'm not as good looking as my husband which makes me ragey. He can not shower or shave and be super smelly and still be hot. Men. ugh.

So we had a decent storm last night, woke up to wind, lightning, thunder and phone alarms going off. Oh and the dog trying to open the bathroom door because that's where she hides from storms. Except she doesn't know how to open doors so she was just howling and stuff. So that was sad. But since I had just woke up and didn't quite know what was going on I thought there was a tornado and freaked the heck out.

So that was fun.
