This is really interesting in general but also speaks to me. Like, you can do all this work to mummify yourself and it still isn't good enough for some people so they just leave you for archaeologists to find a few centuries later.

They are very fiddly! Anything dealing with humidity and the whipping of egg whites gets complicated I have a baker/pastry chef friend who livestreams making them on facebook from time to time and it's always a process
