I don't think it's a crueller, it's just donut dough stretched and twisted on itself like a braid.

Unless that is what a crueller is, then it's definitely that.

I'm not sure but I think I remember the donut shop as a kid just labeling anything long and not a circle a crueller haha probably just to keep it simple.
