As a Colts fan I thought it would be difficult to root for the Texans, but I was wrong. I was so thrilled to see the Pats LOSE. I am still happy. I think 97% of the US that cares any about football is happy.
it felt like a weird dream.

Tom Brady (might) finally be slowing down

I kept waiting for “the other shoe to drop” ie the Pats coming back and winning but it never happened

Yeah, that's usually the case. And this year I notice they don't seem to get as many special calls or the lucky bounce like they usually do.
The best football game I ever attended was the AFC Championship where the Colts beat the Patriots to go to the Super Bowl. Not only was my team going to the Super Bowl, but the Patriots weren't! The sound in that building was unlike anything I've ever heard. Grown men crying. It was beautiful.

I had season tix for years. Through most of the Manning years...and unfortunately before that during Jeff George and others. We were on the 16th row I think? Only did one season in Lucas Oil. By that time my job had me working every other weekend, tired of paying so much, and when we moved from RCA Dome to Lucas Oil the took our entire section and scooted it so it was in the corner. That was no good. I was on the aisle and had a straight shot of the goal line before.

At the time, mine was $120 a ticket for 16th row, but I bet those seats are so much more expensive now. I also had a problem in that I had to buy 10 tickets at $120 a piece because they were selling preseason for the same price. I never went to those.

eventually there’s going to be 7830 streaming services and cord cutting ppl are still going to have to pay over $100 a month if they have 10-15 streaming services
