i only vaguely remember a texans/cowboys preseason game that i think was in the 4th exhibition so noone of significance played.

looked it up so ok, it was preseason week 3 and cowboys won 34-0.

I remember that game. Preseason pointless. I don’t think many starters played at all in that game. If they did it was only a series or two.

i don’t take pre season anything too seriously. Spring training, nba, nfl etc

I think the Cowboys have some pieces. They shouldn’t be as bad as they are. We’ll see who they get in as a head coach

I saw they interviewed Mike McCarthy and Marvin Lewis (the Bengals old coach) today. I don’t like those choices. They need a coach whose not a yes man. Like a Urban Meyer. The problem is I don’t know if Jerry Jones wants that.

I don’t think Dak is elite but he’s not terrible. You have Zeke at RB who is a top 3-4 RB. get some better receivers alongside Amari (if Amari comes back) and you have a decent offense on paper

The thing with Dak is he’s due for a contract I think. Cowboys probably going to have to overpay to keep him too

I think you have to resign him but breaking the bank for him would suck for them

cowboys should be decent, i think the problm is the players get too comfortable and lazy for a known quantity head coach who is around a long time like garrett.

maybe the pats got the same way with belichick and need fresh blood just like the cowboys.
