Nah, but threads like these are why the daily is so small. If we just had most conversations there, it would look a lot bigger. And we posted the same hits multiple times like the other forum does for reviews or whatever.

i think the daily on here is fine as is. small sometimes but compact and tidy

thats kind of how it use to be and it was a mess sometimes. now that people have come and gone and mtc has gotten smaller... i think daily is a good size for what it is now.

I think it was probably best about a year ago.
It's gotten a bit too small at the moment.

Like 1000 posts a day, having a night crew.
That was best.

Of course things were different back then.
When someone posted a survey under $2, you had a great chance of catching it straight from the forum.

Now you can only catch .50 stuff from the forum usually and even then it's not extremely likely.

At this point, even posting times for the HITs that I post, I'm not sure anyone cares. I'm not around in the morning, and I'm probably reposting stuff that was put up earlier in the day.

I'm not much of a personality, so I do it to just be a part of the site, I guess.

Although, I used to do more when I was a moderator at mturkwiki (a small site I doubt many remember anymore). I would do a voice recording about once a week giving people kind of a pep talk or just joking around. It was fun to do that back then.

Well the thing with hit times is we now have the instant data coming from Turkerview.
TO people would only leave reviews like days later after the survey had approved.

Now I'll just fill up my queue and wait it out until my queue turns green with reviews.

So hit posting isn't needed really anymore, hit times are covered elsewhere.

Why does the forum still exist?
