I can't agree more. I paid off over $50k in debt (not including mortgage) after my first divorce.

Oh I'm not done even. Some of that debt was bad choices on my part, some the divorce, some a layoff right after buying a house. He had a shopping habit and to get rid of him and keep my house and car I had to take on about $30k. It took me...when did I divorce? 2007? Probably 9 years for that amount. I have a little ways to go because I'm stupid and make bad choices occasionally, or like this week will be paying $6k for a new engine. I just bought Manless Cave and stuff for like $5k, and I shouldn't have done that.
Anyway, my long rambling point is there is no time like the present to get your financials under control so you don't end up like me!

this morning/early afternoon was decent. a few good surveys. but since 5pm-ish it’s been dry. i was hoping for an okay night to at least get me to maybe $80 or so but no dice.
