I'm about 1.5 hours south of Sacramento and it is so smoky here the sky is dark. It's actually cold outside with the sun covered.

I just texted my school-aged kid and said I hope his PE class is kept inside today. Breathing in the smoke, even this far from the fires, cannot be healthy.

I also just talked to my older son who is not staying where the fires are but staying nearby. He just drove near some of the affected areas and says the smoke is horrible and some places look like a total war zone, way worse than any pics he's seen online.

Should we be thinking of leaving the greater Sacto area? What do you think?

Maybe they will become worth something since they won't be making them any longer with that logo? I might just put straps on it to sell it.

Yah I hadn't heard about more fires, but I'm so depressed by the news anymore I tend to avoid it unless it's a hurricane coming at us If you're in the fires path please be careful!
