So that sounds like your system is finially giving up the depression thing. From what I've read, that frequently happens with younger people who suffer clinical depression: the brain "adjusts."

No so much, I just handle it better. I'm in a pretty severe bout at the moment, I'm overeating, gaining weight and drinking too heavily, and thinking about drinking in the middle of the day fairly consistently. I'm fairly rationale about it except at dark moments. I dealt with it for a while with Hot Yoga when money wasn't an issue. I tend to be very active - I spend at least 10+ hours a week on a farm. My dog is active and needs attention. Living breathing beings that require me to move to care for them keep me from falling into a hole. If I didn't have my horse or my dog, I would be very overweight, severely alcoholic and even more depressed.
