I find this a disingenuous description of what is happening. And a "TOS compliant" alternative like paying $0.01 for the HITs and bonusing $0.74 if the info is found is not better, in my opinion.

I just don't get the focus on returns for batches. If they're not paying a premium on the submittable HITS, don't do the work. If they are, then the pay is fine.

so either mturk knows that's going to be common practice, they understand it's wrong, and they do the same thing they would against non-compliant requesters

or they don't, and all of this "we're going to do better" talk is just for show.

Doubt we're going to see strict enforcement to the letter of the new rules as opposed to the spirit of them.

these definitely deserved a pay raise considering how complex they were getting. you have to be a better typer in order to make these as good as the old easy ones were.
