And that could have been one of the not-even-indy backyard groups. On-mic talent can vary wildly. Jervis is one of the good ones, considering his range.

Promotion, thank you. I don't know how big it was, though people talked about it a lot here in Philly. It was called EDW I think? In the mid 90s.

I haven't built one of those, no use for super old analog tech. But I have modified an older canon dslr to do infrared portraiture which is a real blast to play with.

Well Philly had ECW, which was pretty much the originator of much of the indy style. Of course, their stuff also varied WILDLY. They had legends like Austin, Pillman, Foley, and they had train wrecks like New Jack and Sandman.
