It was my ex that signed us up, I wasn't there, but i think he had to pay for his (which was like $150) and we got mine free through their promotion, which I think is still running.

wow, really? I've never had a problem with their service, which is awesome because service is usually spotty here. ATT doesn't pick up at all in most places.

i also have metro, sometimes the service is spotty but it's cheap enough for my few needs

They use old CDMA towers, I say old because most CDMA towers are either upgrading or merging. Sprint and tmobile are merging. I would stay away from them too. Ton of upgrades on the AT&T towers, for LTE. IF you have a comcast internet account I would recommend Xfininty Mobile. 45 for there unlimited data, they have WIFI everywhere you can hop onto, and they are piggie backing on verizons towers.

You must pay like 60-70 dollars a month for your devices though right? My bill is like 100 dollars for the service (2 phones) and 30 dollars for a device.

I pay 160 for four lines and 4 devices unlimited everything, and I pay a separate 45$ bill for my daughter who has an iphone w/unlimited all.

All this cellphone talk and I am looking at getting Xfinity Mobile. Free talk and text as long as you have one of their high speed internet connections. Data is unlimited for $45 a line but their phones auto connect to any xfinity hotspot. Phones run on the Verizon network too.

I dont use much data, so for four lines, and only 1GB of data, we would pay roughly $25 a month.

Just waiting on a sale on the phones.
