I use to code forum/post/boards for BBS software and blown away at 1. how complex it has become and 2. how conversation flow still is an issue.

funny. someone told me last week that mIRC is still around. i was totally shocked.

I want to say one more thing about that and it relates in some way to a lot of the things that we do, doing this, is UI/UX/AI training/etc. Three physical dimensions is our native IO. Emulating it on a computer can't do the same.

Sure, if I can help... I'm not a miniframe programmer but I worked with both as400 and VAX machines when I was there... they were old but most billing records were still on them. The scientists had their own deal and the business people had already grown up to HP and DELL for various things.

message me and I'll give you a real address so you can explain what you need outside of the forum. Even if it isn't something specific to what I know, I do know a lot of people that have experience with these sort of things. Hell just talking about an as400 might be enough to get them talking about whatever it is you want to do.
