I never had the commodore. I had an intellivision. it had pitfall, a few cardgames, a racing game, astrosmash, and a few other games
commodore vic 20 was my first computer/gaming system. my neighbor growing up was a programmer for them so we had a lot of games that he'd designed. wow. the memories. now, get off my lawn and find me my walking stick. lol.

Sadly, Commodore was proof that innovation doesn't follow good business... They obliterated IBM on a scale that should have been obvious outright. At the time though IBM had so many contracts with most businesses internationally that there wasn't even a chance to compete. They had the money.

It wasn't the first time this happened. Before computers, in this sense, existed they fought against all of the developers of computing machines. They felt their mechanical and analog devices would beat out their competitors. In fact this is the longest running lawsuit in US history since IBM's computer were originally phantom-ware.

Tools edit.. typos or whatever..
I normally would edit that inline; not sure why I didn't. Maybe the nostalgia is getting to me.
I use to code forum/post/boards for BBS software and blown away at 1. how complex it has become and 2. how conversation flow still is an issue.
