Out of my 10 attempts at making grilled cheese only once has it not resulted in either char or sogginess.

Where are you making them? A griddle, a pan, a toaster oven? A good carpenter always blames his tools, is what I say.

Usually a pan. I did toaster oven this time cause I was impatient and the stove was occupied.

My impatience is a big factor in my failures.

I almost got suckered in on trying those but decided not to I mean that they put almost no frosting on them anymore .... not sure why I am just noticing this now but it is nothing like the 1/8th of an inch on them like it seemed when I was a kid. Maybe I just got a few bad boxes but I could see through the frosting on the Strawberry ones I ate last night
