For myself, I don't understand why the forum owners should be expected to provide this service for free. I think they are entitled to whatever they have left over from any contributions after paying to maintain and improve the forum. I don't recall any mention of them operating a charity.

I am extremely grateful that I'm allowed to use the forum for free right now, because I'm as broke as a dropped egg. I'll certainly donate as soon as I can, and hope I'll be able to do so regularly in the future.

Just from the little time I've been on this and another forum, I've seen the free info help some pretty desperate people climb back on their feet again, and I would donate just to support that happening more in the future.
