All of the above.

If for some reason your account gets suspended, you can't access your funds either on MTurk or on Payments.

I also prefer to transfer to an account that generates interest, sure it is only 1% a year, but rather it work for me than for Amazon.

I do it whenever I get to $20, just because I can, and you are only allowed one per day anyways.
Also because I'd rather get it going with the process of transferring to Amazon Payments, and then to my bank, cause that all takes time, and when I suddenly need the money, waiting a few days for a transfer is not ideal.

If your account is ever suspended, you forfeit all the funds Amazon has in your account. This is true for both funds in MTurk and funds in Amazon Payments.

If your account is ever suspended, you forfeit all the funds Amazon has in your account.

It isn't forfeit, they eventually put it into your Payments account about 2 months after the suspension and allow you to access your payments account once to transfer it out. I guess to make sure that everything is approved?
