wow, that sounds really similar. It's so weird. Sometimes, it's like, they just find any old apartment and drop it off there. Or, they deliver it next store to this other complex, and we call and they do the same thing, give a refund and like a $5 credit or something. But I wonder how they make their money sometimes with how often it happens. One time, at least, they included a picture of where they delivered it to so I was able to go and get it off someone else's doorstep, which was also kind of weird.

They sent me the same item 3 times AND refunded me for the one charge, saying I was never going to receive it, as I was using it.

Since a lot of the time it's a third party seller with the order being fulfilled by Amazon, I feel like they're the one getting screwed on this and having to swallow the cost of the refund/replacement. And yeah, that's been pretty much our experience with them too. It's because they don't have any steady delivery drivers like UPS or Fedex, it's just random people with an hour of training delivering stuff in their own cars like Uber. I really wish they'd crack down on the problems there as it's making them look bad, and you're not given an option for who delivers it anymore so it's not like you can avoid it unless you stop shopping with Amazon entirely.
