You should look into writing short articles and skip turk. They pay sucks but once you get going you can make some decent cash. My old roommate had a Journalism Degree, she not sell's insurance.

I am not currently working in journalism but I have a decade-plus of experience so I can't sell myself short writing.

Is the /truk broken? Or is it my internet? Cuz I'll totally switch to bootlegging my neighbor's.

I don't know why we're acting like that's such an impossible number. I mean it's clearly not an average number, but my friend got a job at Google with a CS degree straight out of school last year and his salary+stock options for signing is like $110K.

There are definitely jobs out in certain sectors that easily pay that much

Thats my plan right there. Not the working at google thing but to get a CS degree specifically in programming.

If I could make 50k a year that would be more than enough for me.
