Hello Everyone--

Thank you for participating in my experiment! While it's not over yet, I've down the server to make some changes, in accordance with the feedback I've recieved.

(1) Less stringent click location filter: This has been catching a lot of people, I'm going to be making it much less strict. This is my first time running an MTurk experiment of this kind, and I had read that it's important to put checks into the system since otherwise people will take advantage of you. This filter is designed to catch people who just click on, for instance, the image on the left every single time to speed through the HITs. However, it appears that very few people are taking advantage of these HITs, so that's less of a concern.

(2) Unblocking. The server has auto-blocked about 20 people (out of >300 who have taken the HITs) so far. However, it has come to my attention that blocking people from completing HITs is very serious. I will be unblocking everyone who was blocked within the next hour. From now on, you will instead recieve a qualification that will forbid you from taking the HITs instead of being blocked.

(3) Feedback. Please send me any feedback or thoughts you have on the HITs! I read every email I recieve and it has been extremely helpful so far.

The server will be back up in a few hours, with fresh new HITs. Thank you all for participating!

I didn't mind those HITs, and it's great that they are responsive, but after the pay drop... no thank you.
