That is the reason you are getting such a "good" deal on brand name laptops because they use bloatware as advertisement to offset the price.

Desktops, too, in my experience (which admittedly is not huge). We bought new ones for work, two different brands (Lenovo and HP) and on all three I spent hours, literally an entire Saturday, setting them all up, networking, and mostly removing all the damn "apps" (as Windows 10 refers to them) from the damn things.
