Good afternoon everyone. Have the hours changed of when the good hit's usually drop for the day? Back on the old site from about 9am est until 1pm good HIT's would drop pretty consistently. Now on the new site it seems as though it is unusually slow during this time frame.

If they think you did good on previous batches, you'll have an email from them right now.

So, basically, if you've never done an Alegion before you'll never do one in the future.

Well as I said, for well over a year straight on the old site you could count on good hit's being dropped from 9am est until 1pm. Now I'm hearing about zoltars dropping really early in the morning and it seems as though the tides have changed in regard's to when there is a steady flow of decent HIT's dropping.

I think it's just the nature of MTurk. I really don't think a change in website design on the worker side would have really changed anything about the number of HITs requesters have or projects they need done.

Do you have statistical data to back up that statement? LoL the MTruk is as variable as they come.

I just tried to explain what turking was to my brother-in-law and failed miserably. I need to write notes on an index card I keep in my purse.

Mad respect that you even tried. I've given up explaining to most anyone anymore. Now I simply do "internet based consulting work for companies such as Amazon" or something equally vague yet nice sounding. If I make it sound vague and confusing enough most people won't pry. Even if people understood turking, I got tired of the two invariable reactions I got- either looking at me with side eyes like it's too weird and not a real job and I'm probably lying, or wanting to jump in immediately and have me take hours and hours to teach them everything so they can make thousands of dollars every day while watching Real Housewives and eating bon bons and then give up on it after a day or two telling everyone what a terrible site it is and what a terrible job I have.

I'm alive, or something resembling alive at least. Surgery went well and they think they got all the infected bone out, there is a little infection left in surrounding tissues so no sutures yet. I wouldn't say it is great, but I could feel worse. Thank you to those who wished me well and once the prosthetic and teeth are in I'll post a pic....I don't have the guts to put one today.

I have things ready, and I try to keep it as vague as possible. Usually I go with whatever I've been doing most, which is often fives. So I might say "I work with large company's online inventories" or sometimes I might say "data science" which usually shuts them up.
