Well as I said, for well over a year straight on the old site you could count on good hit's being dropped from 9am est until 1pm. Now I'm hearing about zoltars dropping really early in the morning and it seems as though the tides have changed in regard's to when there is a steady flow of decent HIT's dropping.
Zoltars were posting several times a day in batches that lasted approx. 2 hours. They did that for a few weeks, but that seems to have dried up. So, I would say for that requester it was way more consistent than before.

Otherwise, I have seen no change, but I'm West Coast time. I do get up around 6am, though, and just this morning was able to do over $7 in just a bit over one hour in between breakfast/coffee/kid.

Mad respect that you even tried. I've given up explaining to most anyone anymore. Now I simply do "internet based consulting work for companies such as Amazon" or something equally vague yet nice sounding. If I make it sound vague and confusing enough most people won't pry. Even if people understood turking, I got tired of the two invariable reactions I got- either looking at me with side eyes like it's too weird and not a real job and I'm probably lying, or wanting to jump in immediately and have me take hours and hours to teach them everything so they can make thousands of dollars every day while watching Real Housewives and eating bon bons and then give up on it after a day or two telling everyone what a terrible site it is and what a terrible job I have.
I just say that I train Skynet and people tend to scoot away. Should they press further, I say that I'm a freelancer with all kinds of various tech companies and while my pay is poop, it allows me to do stuff like go to the doctor, kills ninjas or faff about without having to report to anyone. You'd be surprised at how many people are envious over small bits of freedom like that, at least where I live.

I just tried to explain what turking was to my brother-in-law and failed miserably. I need to write notes on an index card I keep in my purse.
I always say something like: I do work on a site hosted by Amazon. It's crowd-sourcing work, usually surveys for universities and small tasks for companies like Google who post work on Amazon.

Leaves out a lot but it's enough to satisfy people and it sounds legit using big names like Amazon and Google, lol.

I've noticed the general flow has been very different over the past month or so.

The problem with saying something like that for me is everyone gets dollar sign floating in their eyes and they want me to be their full-time personal coach to the world of turking, that is until they actually try it, hate it and go tell everyone how much what I do sucks.

I just tell them it's none of their damn business and leave it at that. Usually works for me, but I'm a big guy.
