I'm really paraphrasing what was said because I can't remember the exact rhetoric but it's basically they are paying for page clicks and ad clicks and are making much more than what they are paying us to do it. It is what it is, but stolen credit cards is highly unlikely.
the notion that our page clicks is worth 50 cents has been debunked as well. If I was to go for a notion other than stolen credit cards I am going with the idea that these are scammers that are pretending to be a legitimate site hosting company who are paying more for page clicks than they are worth for advertizing so that they can trick people into signing up with their company and then never get any service once there credit card is charged.
Or, alternatively, they are a foreign espionage service using a fake site hosting service to gather information on and build links into other countries interwebs.
