I'm one of the people affected by the error message and unable to accept HITs. I am not sure if the others are, as well, cos I think they're primarily earlier time zones. I know you probably don't have a contingency plan for this, but what happens if we are unable to work today?

Not really, I don't think. Seems pretty random as to who is dealing with it and who isn't. I even got up extra early today to try and get in on Zoltars from the start so I could own today, but looks like that won't be happening.

FINAL FIVE, BABY!

Okay gals, time to shake off those lazy holiday feels and get back to business. And this week that would be:

RISKY BUSINESS

This week you will be wagering on other players performances and trying to secure your spot in the Fab Four!

THE RULES:

• Each player will be given 20 coins to begin.
• There will be three rounds to place your wagers. One on Tuesday, one on Wednesday, and one on Thursday.
  
• Each round there will be five players that have played a mini-game and have a score. Look for these players to be some of your favorite old teammates.
  
• Your job is to decided who you think will win and to place your bet.
• At the beginning Tuesday, I will announce in the morning the 5 players that participated. I will need you to post in the challenge thread your bets for the day by 11:59 pm (daily thread change). The next morning, I will announce the current winnings from the night before, the next task for that day, and who played. You'll turn in bets again on Wednesday and Thursday in the same way.

HOW THE WAGERS WORK:

• You will have the initial 20 coins to start out.
  
• You are allowed to wager as many or as few coins as you would like.
• You are allowed to spread out coins to multiple players in the mini game. You can place them all on one of the players, or any combination of the five.

THE PAYOUT:

• Whatever coins you bet against the 1st place winner: DOUBLED. Ex: I placed a 10 coin wager on the person who won, so I get 20 coins back.
• Whatever coins you bet against the 2nd place winner: RETURNED. Ex: I placed a 10 coin wager on the player who came in second, so I get 10 coins back.
• Whatever coins you bet against the 3rd place winner: HALF. Ex: I placed a 10 coin wager on the player who came in third, so I get 5 coins back.
• Whatever coins you bet against the 4th and 5th place player: LOST. Ex: I placed a 10 coin wager on the player who came in fourth/fifth, so I get 0 coins back.

ELIMINATIONS THIS WEEK:

• There will be NO COUNCIL.
• The top 4 players who have the highest amount of coins will be safe this week.
• The player with the fewest number of coins at the end of all three rounds will be ELIMINATED. This will be announced after all three rounds on FRIDAY MORNING.

Think of your strategies and get ready for our first wagers on Tuesday, where I will be announcing the game and the 5 players who competed first thing in the morning.
