My mom always tells me we need to clean out our "stuff". Ironically every time myself or my husband goes to her house she has a box or more full of stuff to give us. She lives on the street behind us. So often she calls us to tell us she made dinner. Dinner always comes with "extra stuff" she found that she thinks we need. That being said I love my mom to the moon and back back but we now have half of her stuff at our house.

Exactly. But I love my mom so much I just deal with it. One day I said, "you know some of this stuff is yours" and in true mom fashion she said then you should get rid of other stuff you don't use and keep this stuff, lol.

Well, have a crap sale--start with his. In all seriousness garage sales are a very effective way of reducing junk and increasing funds. And you get to meet your neighbors(this maybe a deal breaker here)....of course everyone doing turking already knows how to sell everything loose on the place--like to pay the electric bill.
