I had the heat on low to medium. I'm blaming the 10 year old "non-stick" pan. I had nothing to do with it. :frying:

A thin, cheap pan can also mean increased heat due to the heat transferring easier and not spreading out enough.
So basically, yeah, blame the pan .
Buy one of those $20 copper-coated pans from Wal-Mart, etc. It'll work wonders for everything you attempt to cook, as long as you don't scratch it up with metal utensils >_<.
Highly recommended for eggs and general breakfast foods.

Vanilla yogurt add in granola (I use Nature Valley + Protein) and fresh diced strawberries. So good.

Sorry, not trying to sound snarky in this conversation. I'm just a huge advocate for children's health and people being aware that a lot of homeopathic remedies either don't work or can kill. Not FDA regulated.

Like teething tabs for babies that contain belladonna. All perfectly legal as long as they label it homeopathic.

Anddd I just read this. I'll probably just keep giving him ibuprofen. He's not running a fever and he's fine as soon as he gets medicine. If he's not better by tomorrow I'll take him to the doctor.

Morning!

I was awake all night with a sick-ish kid. The kid has an earache. First one he's ever had and he's not handling it well , lol.

Plain, clean, dry rice in a clean cottony sock, knot it, warm it in the microwave. Maybe make two so you can warm a new one up while the other is needing to be replaced. I STILL get horrible earaches, and warmth is the best solution for those no-infection-but-needs-attention ones
