My 12 year old really likes the Khan Academy coding videos. She's grounded right now and part of her 'punishment' is an hour of code a day. I usually have to pull her away after two hours or more.

He keeps asking for a phone too. You would not believe how many 11 year old have them. Times have definitely changed from when I was a kid. He does read for 45 mins a day though and makes really good grades.

Reading is incredibly important, so he's definitely on the right track. Kudos to him (and you for being one of his parents).
