My D&D group fell apart because one of the players complained I added a brother to her story and she made bad choices and got him killed. So I'm being bitched at for someone she didn't know dying, that wasn't even real. Man. Why do I???

I feel like I've missed something again

what the hell do you giuz do when you have a ton of TV shows, movies you want to see? I have to speed watch most movies, i just don't have time to watch a whole 2 hours film, so I just watch some of the beginning to get to know who is who, then I fast forward through the boring looking stuff until I see an explosion or some shit then I watch again, and yeah i know i miss a lot of dialog between the characters, but most times I can figure out what they are doing

Have an interminable backlog, obviously.

Some shows are ok for being in the background while working, I found It's Always Sunny, The Good Place, and Schitt's Creek have all been AWESOME shows and not too hard to follow while doing repetitive work. For the rest, I just assume as we reach Peak TV that like with books I will simply never have time to see them all. So choose carefully (but choose)

i feel like if I watch Big Bang I’ll catch an episode I find funny, but then some shows fail to make me laugh at all. i think I would like it better if it didn’t have a laugh track. I re-watched episodes of Mr. Bean again the other day (one of my favorite shows from my childhood) and the laugh track was so overrbearing watching it now, but i still laughed
